Occupant safety · Wheelchair securement

You are already inside. How does the wheelchair — and the person — stay safe?

Getting into the van is only half the journey. Most families and fleets discover “securement” only when belts feel confusing, rails look like metal tracks with no clear kit, or drivers take too long every stop. Start with your situation — then open the system that fits.

The wheelchair and the person are two jobs. Four-point (or equivalent) tie-downs hold the chair; a separate lap and shoulder belt protects the occupant. One strap cannot do both — knowing that sentence saves dangerous shortcuts.

Still boarding — not securing yet?

Vehicle model, rear or side entry, wheelchair type, private family or fleet, and whether boarding is the struggle or belts on the floor. A Maya Mobility specialist will map ONE, INQLINE or classic rail kits honestly.
