Wide platform · Fadiel BI-80

BI-80

A rear lift with room to walk — 850 mm internal width, 80 mm side rails that double as goods barriers, 350 kg capacity, and Strenx steel structure for vans that carry both wheelchairs and daily cargo.

What most people never realise

Wheelchair lifts are not only for wheelchairs — the van still carries life.

Families and small operators use the same vehicle for the chair, shopping, equipment, and luggage. A narrow platform with fixed high sides makes every trip a packing puzzle — and carers still need room to stand beside the chair while securing it.

BI-80 is Fadiel’s wide-deck answer: 850 mm walk width, 80 mm side profiles that retain goods as well as define the chair envelope, 350 kg rating, and ~100 kg unit weight in a 35 cm closed profile. Choose BI-80 when walk-around access and mixed cargo matter — not BABY LIFT’s minimal overhang for low roofs, and not LIGHT-LIFT-BP’s book opener when you specifically need the wider internal lane.

In motion

BI-80 deploy — wide deck, side retention.

See the platform extend, the 80 mm sides define the load area, and the lift stow to 35 cm closed height.

01 · 850 mm walk width

Stand beside the chair — not only behind it.

Generous internal width lets the assistant walk on the platform with the occupant during boarding and tie-down — safer than reaching across a narrow deck from the pavement.

02 · 80 mm sides

Retention for chairs — and edges for boxes.

Low side profiles contain the wheelchair while still defining a useful cargo boundary when the platform carries mixed loads on non-passenger runs.

03 · 350 kg capacity

Power chairs within rating — with structural margin.

Full 350 kg class capacity on a wide deck — the combination heavy occupants and carers ask for when smaller lifts feel undersized on paper and tight in practice.

04 · Strenx steel + aluminium

Strong structure — controlled weight.

Strenx high-strength steel in the structure with aluminium platform components — rigidity where loads concentrate, sensible mass on the rear overhang (~100 kg unit class).

05 · Silent operation

Wide deck without noisy deployment.

Silent mechanism keeps residential boarding discreet — the wide platform does not have to announce itself to the whole street every morning.

FAQ

Questions before specifying BI-80.

Both are 350 kg rear lifts with ~35 cm closed height. BI-80 when 850 mm walk width and 80 mm side profiles matter — carer beside the chair and occasional goods. LIGHT-LIFT-BP when book-opening stow and two explicit platform sizes fit your rear envelope better.
Measure kerb length with the rear door location in mind — nose-in parking and narrow bays are the usual constraints. Maya Mobility includes protrusion in the pre-order survey.
Side geometry is designed with mixed-use in mind — confirm your typical load with Maya Mobility so we set expectations for tie-down and weight distribution safely.
E-Series when you want Braun integration (Carodoor, Remote, EN handrail package) on fleet or private WAV spec. BI-80 when Fadiel wide-deck geometry and walk-on boarding are the deciding factors.

Need walk-on width and 350 kg in one rear lift?

Share vehicle rear dimensions, parking layout, and chair size. Maya Mobility confirms BI-80 protrusion and closed depth — or redirects to a narrower Fadiel model if geometry is tight.
